Hi, I am Biao Yang (Chinese: 杨彪). I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at Antai College of Economics and Management in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in 2022.

My research

I consider myself as a theorist given my interest in mathematical representations of economic and financial activities. My main study unveils the impacts of climate change on the financial market through modeling interactions between climate conditions and economic production. I have been working on other projects (thanks to my brilliant coauthors!) involving global climate news shock, ESG risk, and option pricing.
